Steaks well cooked perfectly as ordered and very delicious as was everything. Finding a place that has fine dining food in a casual atmosphere is rare and will definitely go back again. Service was fast and friendly. Wonderful dining experience.

Delmonico ribeye was excellent! Seasoned perfect med well. Lightly blackened large 1/2 # ship was juiced and fantastic flavor! Value for $ was great.

Our waiter was exceptional. He was attentive to our request and made wonderful suggestions.
Although the food was good, we were expecting more. Our waiter was a nice guy but we just waited a long time to be attended to and be served. It looks like Barons needs to hire more help in order to attend to more customers and reduce the waiting time. The place could be cleaner (the table, chairs, floor, candle holder & mosquitoes under the table and chairs).
The food was delicious! Best steaks ever! Service was great. Will definitely be back!

This was our first visit. We came for a short vacation. Found this place on restaurant.com and decided to give it a try. Well, we made several trips there. The food was great. There wings and green fried tomatoes was fantastic.
They have high chairs and a kids menu but no changing station. They have a backroom for groups. Their menu is limited. I had steak, it was OK.their salad was a few pieces of bag lettuce with a couple slices of onion and tomato on top. Our waitress took a while to bring our check, but was friendly.
Have come here for 12 years and always liked it - one of our favorites! Very disappointing. Very slow. Waiter had to keep checking with kitchen to answer our questions. One steak ordered medium bled all over plate. When sent back, came back very cooked. Was told it was properly cooked and We must have been confused by lighting. Waiter did not come back and check - we had to call him.
Fish was not cooked first time around. Adjoining table had raw fish and cold food. Another adjoining table sent both of their raw fish entrees back and traded for steak. I've been to this restaurant many times and the food is usually fabulous. I believe they were very short staffed last night.
Calamari was good not great, the salad was iceberg ordinary. My pork chops were delicious, small portion of mashed potatoes but enough. My husband had the rib eye & was pleased, he definitely could have used more potatoes, or a vegetable. The bread was so so...Our waiter was very nice & personable. Also the appetizer came almost at the same time as the salad, it would be nice to have separate.
Service was excellent as usual. Food was perfect as usual. We always come here when we stay in North Myrtle Beach.

The salad was small. The Mashed potato casserole had no taste or seasoning. The steak was ok but wasn't great.
scallops cooked to perfection melt in your mouth. Most over cook seafood.
My wife had the seafood combo of shrimp, scallops, and catch of the day (grouper). She really liked it and would probably get all of it broiled the next time.Overall, we enjoyed the meal, but the service was a little slow with only three tables in the restaurant and plenty of servers??

Server very nice, but slow. Two of us had food that was lukewarm and overdone. My Salisbury Steak was so overdone, there was a crust on the bottom. Flavor was excellent, though.
Server was great - food arrived in a timely manner and was hot and loved by all in the family. We were on vacation - GREAT and we will eat again at Barons next year on vacation.

We visited Baron's while vacationing. Although a bit off the beaten path, Baron's was a pleasant dining experience for my husband and myself. We had the Chicken Marsala which was very good with generous portions.

When I called to make reservations, Gabe was delightful and he greeted us like returning friends when we arrived. TJ our server was professional and courteous. Dinner...ribeye and chicken picatta...were delicious. Salad was iceberg and a little brown...could have used some romaine for color.
Waiter did not remind us that the gratuity was included so we paid it again. He should have let us know as there was 18% added as it was.
My wife's food was not very appetizing to her, and the server did not inquire why she only at 1/4 of it. She had the Crab Cakes, and said they were the first ones she had ever eaten that did not taste right or like any crab cakes she had eaten before.

Found Baron's about 7 years ago and my husband and I make sure we have dinner there every summer when vacationing in Myrtle Beach. Love the pork schnitzel (although last night's pork wasn't up to standard). My husband had the filet and loved every mouthful. Delicious salad and rolls. The servers are very friendly and service great!

The service & food were great. Steaks were awesome, only thing that we didn't care for was the sweet tea wasn't that good, but I will definately eat there again.

The new York strip was good. It had a huge grissle in it but the flavor was good and cooked just right. However the filet minon was not good, it had no flavor although it also was cooked to order. The problem: we are not able to eat any startches, the waiter was pleasent but not very good with special request, and did not remove the dirty napkins from eating wings, nor did he get back to us regarding our request for a replacement for the starches ( potatoes,bread,etc- which we did not have any of) over all it was a lite but ok meal for just eating meat for dinner.(80$ for two steaks ,side salad and 6 wings was a little much, don't you think!)

First time visit. Wanted to treat my son to a nice Prime Rib dinner. He wanted the King cut but they were out. Hard to believe for a steak house. The manager came over to explain about a water main break and was sorry. Veggies were frozen. My son ended up getting the filet mignon - very good. I got the scallops - okay.

The restaurant has good, though not excellent food. The main problem is that smoking is allowed in the bar. Even one person smoking can ruin the evening for someone allergic to smoke. We had been told we could be in the back room, but could not sit there due to a large party. This is the main reason that we would NOT return to Barons.

Food was cooked properly. The chef certinly knew what he was doing. The cut of meat(ribeye) was of a very poor quality, with too much gristly. I have bought much better ribeye at Food Lion. Would never go there again. For $75(inc. coupon) I expected better. The owner is trying to save money by giving low quality ribeye. Beware!
A friend and I meet for golf in Myrtle Beach every year and Baron's for dinner is one of our annual traditions. Normally it's just the 2 of us but we've had as many as 7 at the table. Keep up the good work!

Could have been a romantic dinner but place does not have a dress code therefore patrons could wear evening attire or shorts and tank top. Sort of killed the setting. Food was ok but pasta sauce was runny. Still enjoyed the dinner but would not go again.
