The grilled fish was delicious! They also have delicious homemade desserts, but we were too full to eat dessert this time.
The good was good & so was the service. But for some odd reason the dinners were served on lunch sized plates! Not even enough room to put ketchup on for the fries! They were celebrating their 6th anniversary & advertised a special every day, but when we asked,there was none! Also we weren't offered a slip to fill out for the prize basket giveaway. But these were little problems & it won't stop us from going back.

The staff was very friendly and attentive and most of the food was really good.
Only one waitress due to another one calling off. Poor girl could not give good service to everyone and there were quite a few people in the restaurant. Also ordered a hamburger for my 7 year old granddaughter and it was broken in two pieces and she was upset and still hungry when we left. This is the first time we experience poor service or food at this restaurant
Great place to go for a truly good homemade meal. I had meatloaf (gravy on the side). It was very good. My wife had fried chicken, and it was very good too. I had mashed potatoes, which were excellent, but my wife had rice pilaf, which she thought was kind of soggy. Stick with the mashed potatoes, and you will be happy. Good service and reasonable prices. Loved it!
Their power went out because of the storm but they did everything that they could to accomidate us.

Changes since last visit - menu, different salad bowls and dinner plates (not as nice). It took 2 bottles of steak sauce to get one serving.
They gave us enough food for 3 meals....chicken and biscuits was delicious. Wish they were closer but about 1 1/2 hour away.
Deb was a great waitress. Excellent food. Coconut cream puff cake and Apple pie desserts were awesome.

Service was good, food was fair. The restaurant itself was a little too cool temperature wise. Food was warm but not hot and my seat was broken.
The restaurant could have been cleaner. It is an older restaurant. The food was good. The appetizers were a little skimpy, but they all seem to be nowadays. Our server was really sweet and very attentive.
The waiter was friendly and did a good job, but it took forever (over 1/2 hour) to get our food and we were late for the school play we were going to afterwards.

Our waitress was so happy to see us. Very friendly and helpful with selections. She explained that all the food was homemade. Soup was delicious. Plenty to eat and very reasonable.

We went for breakfast. The food was good. The only problem I remember is I ordered 2 eggs & only got 1, so the waitress had to remove it from our bill.
We visited a different restaurant or church every Friday during Lent and this was by far the best meal we had! And we found out they have it every Fri., so we may keep eating seafood every Fri. all year :)
My friend and I both had a chicken salad. The chicken was a bit on the dry side, but otherwise it was good. I really like their house dressing. It's a vinaigrette and includes feta cheese on the salad.
The service from our waiter was quite personal and friendly. The food is home-cooked style.
