Everything was great. My only complaint is and has been their weak ice tea!
This was our first time to visit Olivit Mediterranean Grill. The food was excellent. Mike waited on us and explained about the menu. He was an excellent server and we will definitely be visiting again. We liked that this restaurant was not a chain.
Lunch traffic had calmed and we enjoyed chatting with the wait personnel! Got a good overview of the restaurant. Was great!
As the number of Mediterranean restaurants in the area have grown the quality of the food served has also improved. Olivit has continually improved the quality of their food as well as their service. I would definitely place them in the top five of this style restaurant. The food is always fresh. The homemade pita is warm and excellent, and their choice of entres will not disappoint. Highly recommend.

Nice and quiet, feels like home
Server was good. Food wasn't as expected. Lamber shank was loaded with sauce and wasn't able to enjoy the meat flavor. Rice was too dry with lack of flavor. Orzo Soup and bread have good flavor. Kids meals should include Mediterranean foods, only has pizza, hot dog, etc.
Amigo Spot caters to the hotel clients but as a resident of the city, we go there when we are in the mood for Mexican food. I have taken friends there and they too have continued to go there.

Everything we ate was delicious...hummus,tzatziki, spanakopita, and mousakka. Our server was pleasant and attentive.

We've ordered an appetizer and a main dish for my husband. For some reason they brought us his main dish before the appetizer, so we thought that was the appetizer and have shared it. Tasted great but it would have worked better the other way around.

We stopped by on a slow night, so the dining closed one hour earlier, but offered to go.Food is good overall as usual. Only a few things wish to be improved: freekeh soup too much chicken and too little freekeh.Veggie wrap overburned veggie.

Food was good server was pleasant but the young lady that was helping took our plates before we were finished asked us several times if we were finished while we were still eating that was very annoying.
Been here a few times, and every time the waitstaff has been new and service uneven, waitress had to come back to say they were out of raspberry tea and clarify what I had ordered, but they do seem to be trying. This time gyros and a salad came out very late (two other tables seated after us were half way through their meal already).
John helped me with some questions I had about certain items that I hadn't tried before. I ordered something different and some of my favorites and everything was outstanding - the best I've had.
The service was just okay. The food was not very good except for the salad, soup and bread. My son ordered lasagna and hated it. I sent it back for a burger and fries. My daughter who is 10 ordered a burger and fries off the kids menu. She didn't like the hamburger meat. I tasted it and it was awful. It wasn't beef. It had a weird taste. Kids food should taste like kids food no matter what type of restaurant their parents decide to eat at. We have been to many different types of restaurants and a hamburger is a hamburger. We took my sons food to go. He hated the hamburger and so did my husband. We through the meal in the trash. I didn't even give it to our dog because I wasn't sure what it was. My food was okay except for the meat that came with my chicken. My husband didn't like it either. My husband was supposed to have beef and lamb but said it all taste the same, dry and not very good.We will not go back to this restaurant ever. I never even got asked if I needed a water refill.

I ordered the Greek Sampler Platter, but when our waitress brought our food, the spanakopita that was supposed to be included was missing. When I asked about this, she asked the cook, then came back with the news that they were out of it... Apparently, this had happened before. Why wasn't I informed of this when I ordered?

They were short on wait staff so there was a long wait for ordering and getting food and checking on our food when we got it. The waiter was kind of forgetful.

I especially like the quality and quantity of the food. There are 2 other Mediterranean restaurants down the same road that I have been to. This one is by far the best one. I usually get the gyros and the greek salad. Both are tasty!! I also like the ambience and coziness of the restaurant.

Service was terrible, never received part of our order, waiter was more interested in flirting with other waiter then servicing our table . Had to ask several times for tea refills to not receive until asked several times.
The food was delicious and reasonably priced - the Mediterranean pizza was so yummy, as was the babaganoush. The house dressing for the salad was also deliciously unique. I ordered takeout and my wait was very short and comfortable, sitting on a cushy lounger, browsing magazines. The grill has a cozy, casually chic atmosphere and would be a great place for a date.

I placed order to go and was greeted by this young girl who was very unpleasant. Not at all social.
We decided to have a family style meal of traditional Greek Appetizers and Salads. The food was great. The only difficulty was the young female server did not realize that we would each need a plate until we asked and there were no serving utensils for the dishes; so we had to pour each on our individual plates instead of spooning or using large serving utensils.
They are excellent in every department.
Food is VERY good here, but they need to iron out the kinks in service. It's cordial, but the kitchen is not very adept at timing. Drinks, appetizers and main courses are apt to show up at any time in no particular order. And it does the wait staff no favors when they are not told they are out of something until after they put in the order. Found out my entree was sold out while we were enjoying the appetizers and still waiting for my drink.

I had a gyros sandwich - I really like the taste and quality of their meat. I also had their greek salad - both very good!
Food was great. Service was bad. Very slow, plates not cleared from the table before coffee was served, had to ask for things 2-3 times.

Nothing really wowed me about the place. It was good but not great. Kind of pricey on some items and other were priced just right. The server was about a 8 out of 10 and she knew her menu very well.

We took our daughters and their husbands here for the first time for all of us. Our server, Maddie, knew the menu very well and described everything perfectly. We had some appetizers and the party tray. We took home enough food for all of us to have another dinner! And it was delicious too!
The food was ok. The pitas were amazing and hummas was really good. I have had better gyros but other items were very good. Service was not that great. Spent a lot of time waiting for small things when it was not really that busy.
They were very busy given it was lunch on Mothers Day. Our waiter was pretty slow & forgetful, but the food was well worth the wait!
seating is a little cramped but it is a small place. We would really love it is they could get their liquor license so we could have glass of wine with meal and don't have to remember to bring our own. They are so friendly and happy to have us and it shows and the food is very good. I am in love with the salad dressing and the puffy bread.

Very peaceful, relaxing atmosphere and the food is excellent. They do not serve alcohol but you can bring your own and pay a $4.00 cork fee. This is such a wonderful experience and our 2nd visit to Olivit. You won't be disappointed.

Server wasn't the best, didn't get water filled up once. He was nice though. Food was slow coming out and the kids food (ordered chick nuggets), especially, came out way too hot- lawsuit hot if a kid bites into it, so be careful.

Good consistent Med food. Good servers and service. Dining area isn't separated enough, so when it gets crowded, there's little privacy. My husband and I went for a date night, but a large family with young kids came in, so it became a little tough to enjoy the evening peacefully.
not excellent the food is very expensive and portion is very small like there shrimp dish was 20 dollar and and there was only 13 shrimp with a scoop of rice there minced kabub was burn from outside and had a bad smell the only good thing is there hummus and pita bread and in entre there chkn dish but again there platters are very small portion acording to the prices are ohhh yaaa the server was very nice

The waitress wha inattentive. We also ordere lemonades thatndidn't arrive until we finished our entrees, though we ordered our drinks first! The waitress also got our food order wrong. Very disappointing for one of our favorite restaurants.
Unlike a previous visit, server was not very adept. Brought appetizer dip but there was a long wait for the bread we needed to eat it. Had to ask for dirty plates to be cleared. Did not enter the code for our Restaurant.com certificate correctly.

good tasting food. it was at the end of the evening so the sparse clientele provided me with great service. in the past, the restaurant seemed chaotic and unable to provide quality service, but the food has always been great.
We live far from the restaurant so that is why we will not be returning, it is no reflection of service or food quality.

We have eaten at Olivit once before and while the food was great, the service was lacking. This time, our server was outstanding! I wish I could remember his name so I could personally compliment him. He took very good care of us and was very friendly with my social 3 year old. The hummus and rice pudding were our favorites this time. We will return for sure!

It would be nice if they were more kid friendly. While they have a kids menu, the prices are high. Don't really offer drinks for kids. Their lemonade is special and expensive. Entree prices are high. We have the salads and sandwiches because they are better value, they are really good!

I went there once before and the disorganization of the restaurant resulted in poor services, not necessarily my waitress' fault. This time the restaurant had few people as most were finishing their meals when i came for a late dinner. So, the service was adequate. And, the food is good and interesting. I might return.

I love going to Oliveit. Great food however they do not serve any type of alcohol. Maybe allowing clients to bring wine would be nice.

The food was wonderful, the service was great but it took the cook a long time to cook our meat dishes... I think they had a new cook and it took a long time.. I was glad that we didn't have to worry about time constraints... Still I would come again and give it another chance because the food was good and the waiter was really nice.
The service was just extremely slow!!!! Food was out quickly No water refills the check took forever and they forgot to bring out part of the meal. Dinner took 1 1/2 hours and shouldn't have taken more than 45 min, because we were done eating with in the 45 and it took the remainder to get the check pay and get containers for left overs and they never filled our water or asked too. The waiters were very friendly though.

This restaurant is wonderful. The food is very authentic per my Fiance, who has lived most of his adult life in the Middle East. The food at Olivit is flavorful, cooked to perfection and served very graciously.
All of our meat & vegetables were both charred & burnt. The salad was fresh, the bread & salad dressing were good. The prices were unreasonable

The food was good but a little overpriced. We have a Turkish restaurant in Houston called Pasha that we love and the prices are better, atmosphere is more intimate, and servers are more knowledgeable.
We didn't care for the food- one entree we didn't eat, the other we shared and it was ok- not something we would purchase again. Also- thought it was highly overpriced for a strip mall restaurant.
server was pleasant but poorly trained, if at all. Meals came before appetizers and soup. Drinks (carrot juice) took 1/2 hour to be delivered.
My husband's family in Lebanese and through there are a few mediteranian resturants in the area...this one is the best by far!
Kids meals very overpriced and looked and tastes like it was reheated, when brought to attention to server she said " not sure what to tell you, we serve same food to everyone" service was extremely slow! Will not be back -
Such a nice restaurant. Our server was very attentive without hoovering. Every item of food was freshly made, even the pita bread. Great lemonade! Overall wonderful experience. Will definitely frequent Olivit Mediterranean Grill!
