James our waiter was very attentive to our needs and very plesant. All other staff were plesant as well. The music and atmosphere was very plesant.
I had veal piccata. It wa very good but could use some more lemon juice. The polenta was not quite firm enough but had a good flavor. Loved the gentleman who sang to entertain the restaurant. The acoustics were bad and one could hardly hear their dinner partner because it was so loud. We could barely hear the singer. However, this says something for the restaurant because it was very busy!
Seated against wine refrigerator and there was nobody in the restaurant. Bread was stale, House salad balsamic dressing was more like white vinegar, the veal piccata lacked flavor, the special shrimp (was tough) and lobster w/fettuccine was blah. The Pinot Noir was very young. Granted, they were expecting two large groups that evening and were probably focused on meeting their expectations. On the plus side, the server was very good.

We had the Meet Ravioli and Shrimp Fettuccini. The Bruschetta appetizer was fantastic. The two waters were so kind and always had on a smile.

the waitress forgot my sons drink ... & I asked the. Waitress and the other server for a lemon nothing happened & I have to ask for the 3rd time before she gave me a couple of slices of lemon. The menu had no price for especials so we ask for the price for the lamb w/ shrimp .. waitress said $ 28.95. My husband agreed to order and I ordered the same lamb except no shrimp for $24.95.. what made me mad when the bill came she charged $ 33.95 for my husband meal . So I pointed it out to the waitress .. she didn't care about the fact that she is accountable to what she said before we ordered the meal.. I asked to checked with the manager to adjust the bill because of her mistake... She automatically told us that she can guaranty that the manager will not change the price.!!! without even trying yet... So I said this is wrong. No change has been made nor manager came out to apologize.. so we got out of there unsatisfied & feeling unhappy with the service overall..
Good Indian food
We've been going here for years; Pietro's is our first choice in choosing or recommending a good Italian restaurant in the Reno/Sparks region. The area's best kept secret. Authentic Italian cuisine, with a plethora of quality menu choices. From wines to dessert, working Chef and owner Pietro always delivers his best.
The food was good, but not the best Italian that we have had. The portions were very small; however, the staff were all fantastic.

They are undergoing a change in ownership, so they were out of many of the things I wanted to try. What we did have was great, as was the service, but it was a little disappointing. I will go back!

Food is always delicious. Scallops in the special were cooked just right. Seafood risotto was perfect.

Dancing Ganesha has recently been acquired by new owners - menu will change somewhat, but they are keeping all customer favorites. DG is the best at spice levels of all Indian restaurants I dine at. Consistent and spicy!

Our waiter was very professional with excellent people skills and the food was the best Italian I have had in years. The ingredients were fresh and high quality. For example, the tomatoes were deep red and flavorful - like garden grown!

The Chicken Parm was a bit dry.
The female waiter was very very effecient and helpful and patient with us I might add. We have a number of dietary concerns and she knew her stuff. Pietro's has been at the top of our recommend list for years.

Stale bread. Italian restaurants should have good bread. Drop the musician and invest in better bread. Alfredo sauce is not good especially on half of the lasagne.

It would have been an Excellent rating except for the "hostesses" weren't very friendly upon greeting at the front. They didn't seem to pleased to be there. However when we left after our meal they seemed very happy :( On the otherhand, the server was great!

They were very busy, but still provided very good, friendly service. Our meals were nicely sized and fresh. The noise level was a bit loud with their singer, but he was entertaining.

The atmosphere is comfortably Italian, sort of a feel of a family feel - yet elegant. The wine assortment was impressive, the food was way above standard. Nothing like chain-restaurant food.
