This is my go-to place for Mexican food. I love their burritos and sopes, and their seafood is darn fine, too.

The food was good. It came out hot which is a plus. The server wasn’t very attentive
Expected a crowd at 6:15PM but hardly anyone there - so we could get a table & talk over a good meal without a lot of noise.
Authentic Mexican food that you would find on Diners, Drive in’s and Dives. Very flavorvable but not overwhelming in spicey heat. I will definitely visit again.
Great classic 'hole in the wall' Mexican Resturant. I did have a small problem today. Last visit I was told the seafood Cocktail needed to be ordered 1 hour in advance. So I call today in adance, the person on the phone said they didn't have that anymore. So I go there and told the waitress I'll have the seafood soup as the seafood cocktail is no longer available. She said yes it is, and checked with the kitchen staff. It even sounded like it didn't need the 1 hour advance to order. Today though I still got the seafood soup since I hadn't had it before.
The food was excellent, the service was great and the price was reasonable. I am giving 4 stars only because it is a small storefront and doesn't have the atmosphere of a bigger restaurant.

The good was good. The atmosphere is of the family run "hole in the wall" restaurant. Very dated furniture. Corners and ceiling need attention, especially the AC fan cover above the food prep area.

The food was really tasty. Good size portions.
Place is small and plain, but the food is good. One of the few places in Albuquerque to have gorditas and the chile relleno had great flavor.
Food is fabulous and large quantities
The food lacked flavor and was extremely greasy even for mexican food. The waitress failed to ask or provide refills of our drinks. She was nowhere to be found during our meal. I Had to yell for her and then wait 5 minutes for her to make her way to the front so I could pay. There is no air conditioning in the building we ate our meal in a 90 degree room and will not be going back.

Waitress was way too quick to ask for our order, and then was very inattentive after the meal was delivered. Running out of water is a bad thing in a restaurant with spicy food. The food took an unusually long time to arrive. Otherwise, it was a good experience.

Colorful, fresh, with complex flavors. We don't follow a vegan diet but if we could prepare food like this, we would! One of our best meals ever!

Great little down-home Mexican restaurant. I anticipate the order will be freshly made after I order and accept the time it takes to do so. I also accept that there will only be 1 (friendly, great) waitress. It is well worth the wait! It is not a place to go if you're in a hurry. Sit back, relax and enjoy!

This is a true hole in the wall gem. There isn't a lot outside to draw you in. Not that is doesn't have a decent front. But the food was a wonderful surprise and treat. Really enjoyed the way they prepare chile rellenos and their flan was wonderful. will definitely go back!

Tom, our waiter was Excellent. The food was GREAT! Although the Portions were a little small.
Food is very good. Menu is pared down from what it used to be, which is fine. Appetizers outshine entree items. Once again, we didn't appreciate the "eye rolling" & obvious displeasure from the waitstaff that we were a party of 7. A family of 6 was seated without the drama that we were. For that reason, I will not go there after work with a group again.
Two items we ordered were not available, service was slow, and food was OK, not great.
