Maida was a wonderful server. We enjoyed our meal tremendously. nice atmosphere and friendly staff. very busy, so my dinner was not really hot, but very delicious.

The menu choices were boring. Same old things you can get anywhere. I was hoping they'd have some interesting specials but they didn't. My husband's steak dinner was good but I didn't like the penne carbonara. While the alfredo sauce was good, the bacon was not cooked - it was under cooked and rubbery. I told the server and she took the cost off our bill.
Great place and delightful dining experience. John the owner greets everyone as if they are friends. The food is excellent and consistant. I have not had a substandard meal there in all the years we have been going.

Wonderful wait staff and the food is consistently delicious. It's a great place to have a leisurely dinner. I honestly feel at home each time I visit. My favorite wait person is Barbara!!! She's great!

Really enjoyed the seafood fra diavalo linguini. Salad with Gorgonzola dressing was also memorable. Everyone enjoyed their meal. My daughter enjoyed her wine too. Granddaughters has pasta and sausag, also spaghetti and meatballs.

We had a 7:00 dinner reservation, was seated at 7:15 ordered a bottle of wine and entrees. It took nearly 1 hour to get our dinners. It was ridiculous to have to wait that long. Need to get more staff on board

Great calzone.Fair chicken Parmesan ... Third attempt eating this dish ... Have decided it's just not worth ordering ... Very plain-Jane and chicken itself was not very tender or juicy. Smallish portions.Excellent side of pasta, garlic and oil. Charged me extra for the garlic and oil but should have informed me when taking my order ...Caesar salad ... Just ok. Not excellent ... Not the freshest greens/a little tired.Calamari was terrible ... Absolutely terrible ... Basically commercial frozen quality deep fried and served with sauce. Tough and chewy ... Lacking in flavor. Cannot say enough bad things about this one.Server forgot to serve my soup ... So brought in a to-go container.I'm marking "no" for whether we will go back ... I will probably go back eventually but can't see trying dinner entrees again ... Will stick to pizza or calzones.
Tambascios is an excellent eatery. The owner comes over to greet everyone and ask how your food was which is always fantastic!You won't be sorry if you visit Tambascios! The food is awesome.

All the elements that make for an excellent meal existed last night for dinner. Quiet table, nice background music, tasty appetizers, good soup and salad, delicious entrée, great bread, professional service and enough food to take home and provide for our dinner tonight. That makes it 5 star for us and that is what we get every time we eat at Tambascios.
Everything is always great at Tambascios. Tonight though seemed like everything was slower than usual. The wait staff were hustling and attentive but had too much to handle as quickly as should have been the case. Maybe they were short staff in the kitchen and they were helping out. Not sure, but food and restaurant are always great. Normally would rate a 5.

I enjoy the complete dining experience. It's starts with a basket of delicious bread and a bowl of olives with oil for dipping. The entrees are all delicious as they are individually prepared. They have specialty ice cream from the local farm that is a must to order.
Mussels on special & as of late have been small, either learn to cook small ones or don't accept product very disappointing. Today was very booked so kitchen got behind, no problem Pam kept us updated, we both received our entrees hot except I ordered seafood Posillipo & I think, for me, a bit overcooked because it was kept hot awaiting Pete's pizza to be ready.

We love Tambascios. The food is great (best mussels posolipo ever) and the owner and staff make you feel like family. We especially like the chicken parm and the Portugese clams. Drinks are great too.

we eat here quite often. Tt was not very crowded. It took a ling very long time between courses this visit which is unusual. At least 20 minutes from appetizer to salad and salad to meal. A table next to us received their meal 10 minutes before us and arrived a half hourr after.

Our daughter's seafood over pasta marinara, and our son's ravioli were outstanding. My husband's sole was delicious, as was my chicken parmagiana. Our grandson's meatballs and spagetti was the best he had ever had. Bottom line, everything was great: the warm welcome, the food, service, and ambiance. Thats why we keep coming back to Tambascio's.
This restaurant servers the best possible Marsala I know. That together with an excellent service make every visit a treat.
They have the full package of great food, great service and a family type environment from their staff. The owner goes out of his way to great customers and remembers them!

Should you call ahead, YES. They are always filled with people waiting. Why? Because the service from very pleasant staff, dishes prepared by an outstanding chef are the answer. If you miss treating your palet to this experience, you will have missed a lot.
The restaurant was very nice inside and the menu was had many choices as well as many desert choices. The waitress was excellent and food was terrific. I can't wait to go back!! The manager was even by the door to ask if everything was good!!

We went on Father's Day and it was unexpectedly over crowded and under staffed.
The food was excellent as usual. This time they charged me an extra $1 for ordering garlic-and-oil on my spaghetti. Not that is that much money but I find that just cheap. You are loosing that much on the oil that you have to charge extra for something you never charged for before?

My friend had the mussels which she really liked. My husband enjoyed his steak and i had the filet of sole which was very fresh. Good food at a decent price hen using the certificate.
The host was most pleasant and sought to accomodate with the best suitable table. The waiter "Dale" was very personable and was pleasant and attentitive throughout our meal. The food is outstanding and reasonably priced. We thought they are a quality restaurant for a great dining experience.

This is a friendly, warm restaurant with well spaced tables (the atrium is a bit crowded). We like this place a lot.The food is always good. I just wish they would have Ferris' Vanilla ice cream!

Worst food Ive eaten out.. everything was frozen. Even the piazza was horrible, tasted like the toppings and even the cheese may have been frozen. Food took a long time to get to the table. The price for frozen prepaired foods was too high. They were charging dinner prices that I pay at upscale restaurants with fresh food. Our total price was just for piazza and a couple of subs, no drinks.

As usual, a delightful evening meal in the porch. And, as usual, the appetizers and entrees were delicious, wine was just right and we enjoyed the super service from Basia. And we enjoyed the meal again the next night as we took home what was left of the generous portions.

We wanted to order coffee and dessert, but by the time we finally reached our waitress, we had already spent another $10 on a babysitter to sit around ourselves.

well they do a good job keeping the kids busy. for example they gave are kids dough which they make birds, snakes, so on and after they make there design they cook it for them. kids really look forward to it and the food is always great.

I have eaten at Tambascios several times over the years and always enjoyed it. This time I had the shrimp, scallops and clams in the fra diavlo sauce. My only complaint is that the sauce was way too heavy to be served with seafood. It seemed to me that they are using their marinara sauce rather than making a lighter sauce for the seafood dishes. Heavy sauces overpower the delicate flavors of seafood.

I was upset that after our waitress asked what kind of sauce I wanted on my pasta & gave me a list of choices, I was charged $2 for the vodka sauce. Don't give me that choice without telling me it will be an additional charge. Plus my pasta was swimming in the sauce & I had to get more pasta just to soak it up

Looking to have a family gathering for a brunch and would like to get prices. approximately 30 people.
Given our recent storm, it was a hectic evening for them, however, there is no excuse for poor service. The busboy spilled olive oil on my husbands' shirt sleeve, my steak (ordered rare) came out medium well, my son's gnocchi bolognase had meat sauce instead of bolognase. I will give them one more chance, but I will not have the waitress that served us wait on us as she was horrible. We waited for a very long time for her to acknowledge us, she rarely came back to check on us - my son had no drink for more than 10 minutes after we asked the busboy for a refill - he advised that he had to tell the waitress. She was so busy socializing with a table 2 down from us that we felt totally ignored. Not a good experience.

We were there for our first wedding anniversary. Our server was extremely helpfur and the food was amazing. We can't wait to go again!!
I had the fettucione with red clam sauce - a favorite of mine at Tambascio's and my husband had the chicken special of the night and said it was only fair. Which means, he really didn't like it. I twas the first special on the list, with an Italian name that neither of us remembers, a garlic and something sauce and I think rigatoni.
I had eaten there earlier in the week and wanted to bring my boyfriend there for dinner. I was very disappointed this time. Service wasn't good, we waited for our salad for about 15 mins. than our dinner for about 1/2 hour. over cooked an expensive steak. didn't bring appt. i ordered. :(
Owner honored Gift Certificate regardless that I wasn't eating in (was bringing food for needy family). Great community outreach on his part. Food was fantastic and fed a family of 7 for $70 dollars.
